Audio Frequency Test

Choose a reference frequency and channel, then play a short locally generated sine tone. This can reveal obvious playback gaps or rattling but is not a calibrated hearing test or speaker frequency-response measurement.

Speaker test

Check each speaker channel

Play a local stereo tone to check the left and right speaker channels. No audio leaves this device.

Start with a low device volume. Remove headphones before testing loud speakers, and stop immediately if the tone is uncomfortable.

Before you run

Get a cleaner answer

  • Use the actual device, control, or output you want to check.
  • Allow camera or microphone access only when that test asks.
  • Browser privacy limits are shown as unsupported, not as failures.
  • Repeat the interaction if you want to confirm a fault.

Useful context

Common questions

Is this a medical hearing test?

No. Hearing evaluation requires calibrated equipment and a qualified professional; device volume and speaker response make browser tones unsuitable for diagnosis.

Why is a low frequency hard to hear on my phone?

Small phone speakers often cannot reproduce deep bass efficiently, and playback processing can filter or alter certain frequencies.

Troubleshooting

Fix common problems
