Audio Video Latency & Sync Test

Use repeated audio and visual pulses to manually calibrate the perceived offset from Bluetooth headphones, speakers, TVs, monitors, or other output paths. Results are clearly labeled as human-observed correction rather than fake hardware measurements.

Audio and visual sync test

Play a synchronized flash and beep, then adjust the correction until they feel aligned to you. Headphones are recommended.

Gaming grade

Start at low volume. This manual calibration reports your perceived correction; a browser cannot directly inspect Bluetooth radio latency.

What this test tells you

This tool reports only interactions and browser APIs it can observe. It does not infer hidden hardware specifications or turn unsupported access into made-up results.

Before you run

Get a cleaner answer

  • Use the actual device, control, or output you want to check.
  • Allow camera or microphone access only when that test asks.
  • Browser privacy limits are shown as unsupported, not as failures.
  • Repeat the interaction if you want to confirm a fault.

Useful context

Common questions

Can a browser directly measure Bluetooth latency?

Not reliably. Bluetooth and operating-system output buffering are not exposed as a precise end-to-end measurement, so this tool uses transparent manual perception-based calibration.

What does a positive correction mean?

A positive value delays the audio pulse. A negative value delays the visual pulse. Adjust until both appear synchronized to you.

Troubleshooting

Fix common problems

Bluetooth audio is noticeably late

  1. 1Select a low-latency or gaming mode in the earbuds or headset app if available.
  2. 2Remove and reconnect the Bluetooth device, then close other apps playing audio.
  3. 3For competitive gaming, compare the same test with a wired or USB connection.
